Fundraising evening for the Bluebell Hospice 27 April 2017
Hi Steve,  Thank you to you and the other Buskers for donating your fabulous entertainment on Thursday.  As you know we did very well for the Hospice but we couldn't do it without people like you and your friends to help us.  God Bless you all.  Jean

Gilly's CMC, Wakefield 21 February 2017

'What a great show the Bus Pass Buskers put on at Gilly's, right from the first song, 'Ghost Riders in the Sky' to the very last, My Old Man's a Dustman', which isn't really country but was done by the Buskers in a Country/skiffle style. They had the audience 100% behind them... What this band offer is a repertoire of skiffle, Country and just a touch of Blues, plus one or two jokes in between to enhance what was a good night of entertainment. They entertained the full house and that's all that matters - well done the Bus Pass Buskers!

15th October 2016

Saturday night at Tapton Hall saw a great Ladies' Night Party at which the BUS PASS BUSKERS played, sang and told jokes much to the enjoyment of all the guests. They were absolutely fantastic.  Many asked for their details for future reference.

***** Strongly recommended.

Christ Church Stocksbridge was delighted to host THE BUS PASS BUSKERS on Saturday 19th March. We had a great evening of good music mixed with jokes and asides, all of which was wonderfully entertaining. We have booked them again for next year.

An email from Anita, who organised a Christmas night for Firbeck Village Hall December 2015

'Hello Stephen and the rest of the Buskers.  We all had a fantastic evening and thoroughly enjoyed your performance.  I love the Carol CD  we shall take ours to Germany, where we will be spending Christmas with our daughter and family and I know that they will enjoy listening to it too.

Thank you once again for making our village party such a success!'

A review from the September 2015 edition of Cross Country - the leading Country Music magazine...

'Everyone at the Renishaw Country Music Club enjoyed a night of very good music and laughter with the five piece band, the Bus Pass Buskers from Sheffield. These retired musicians came together 5 years ago to enjoy themselves and raise money for charity. So far they have raised over £10,000, most of it for Help 4 Heroes. The line up was Steve on guitar, Cliff on guitar, Rob on guitar, John on double bass and, adding some glamour to the band, Janet on percussion, washboard and ukulele.
Sharing the vocals, they kept the dance floor busy with a playlist that included Walk the Line, Lucille and Your Cheatin' Heart. In between songs they had us laughing out loud with their quips and gags. Our compere, Paul, thanked them for a fresh and different night to lots of enthusiastic applause and they gave us two encores.

To the Bus PassBuskers, thank you so much for an evening of music, laughter and fun.
Everyone enjoyed it, you made a lot of people very happy, and helped us to raise money for the BISOKE BUS APPEAL. Can we book you for next year !!!   Best wishes, Pam Hellewell, Organiser  - May 2015

I'd like to say how much we all enjoyed your return visit to Dunham - the Village Hall was a sell out and we could have sold another 100 such was the interest. Once again you went down like a bomb - the music was terrific and we loved the humour - it cheered us all up and left the audience buzzing! We'll definitely have you back - we can't wait!

Hi BPB, on behalf of my wife (Pat), family, friends & myself, can I say a very big thank you for a great nights entertainment at Kenny's, in Conisbro', on Sunday night. We really enjoyed the music, comedy. The Jim Reeves & Johnny Cash were magic & Janet has a lovely voice also. Nearly forgot, the 'volume' was just right. We could hear & appreciate everything  with nothing echoing or bouncing of the walls. Fantastic night. Hope to see you back there soon. Regards, Dave Harrison
