Carols from Aspirin Hall

Lovers of Christmas will enjoy this wonderful mix of local and traditional carols, sung by the Buskers with help from children in Thurgoland CE School Choir and accompanied by pianist Ruth Sims. Steve and Ruth lead carol singing each Tuesday evening in December at 'The Plough', Low Bradfield and the carols can also be heard in other hostelries around Worrall, Oughtibridge, Upper Denby and the surrounding areas.

For further details about the local carols, where and when they are sung see www.localcarols.org.uk or contact Steve on 07770 675754.

In many of our gigs Steve jokes that we all come from a Care Home, which he calls Aspirin Hall in Wigtwizzle. The Care Home is fictitious but Wigtwizzle is a lovely spot to the south of Broomhead reservoir in Sheffield. Hence the name of the CD, 'Carols from Aspirin Hall'.

CDs are £6 each or two for £10, plus £1.50 p & p for all.  (They make wonderful birthday or Christmas presents!) Please make any cheques payable to 'C S Brearley' and remember to include your address.

Steve can also supply excellent Carol Books with the words and music for around 70 local carols priced £10.
